Just came across a pretty badass new musical find the other day, my old man cued me into this one:
Hiromi Uehara - young Japanese woman who plays jazz piano like there's no tomorrow... think Chick Corea meets Dream Theater. I listened to the first track off of her "Another Mind" CD, and it blew my fucking mind. It's just a jazz piano trio, and she's capable of making Opeth sound light.
