The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

You can't have the music forum without the most pointless thread ever.

Let's start it off properly.

Great song, dude!  Probably my favorite song from Ascendancy.

Song of the Moment is "Warheart" from Children of Bodom.  Hatebreeder is one of the better Children of Bodom albums, since Children of Bodom peaked with Follow The Reaper, IMHO.

HORSE the band - A Rusty Glove

At first I thought it was probably the weakest song on the album but as I listened to it more and more it became one of my favorites.

There are two songs lately that I have been really addicted to since Friday.  Both are by local bands in my area.

One song is "Heart's Questions" by a prog rock band at Rutgers called Roman Numeral 10.  http://www.myspace.com/romannumeral10

Another song is "I Can't Sleep in Silence" by a dream pop band in New Brunswick NJ called Huma.  My band will be playing a show with them in the coming months.  http://www.humamusic.com

I have been sporting alot of this bad from Kansas City (now defunct though) called Shiner. They used to have this cat named Tim Dow play drums for them. This guy is so fucking good, it blows my mind. The record is called Luna Divina. All the songs rock, but "My Life as a Housewife" owns you.

I also got word that High on Fire will becoming to town real soon. Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about HoF. I have the Blessed Black Wings on my right shoulder. I played the shot out of this record when I got it, for like 6 months stright. I just popped that back in too when I got the news.
