............Queens of stone age..............
.................no one know...................
We get some rules to follow
That and this, these and those
No one knows
We get these pills to swallow
How they stick in your throat
Tastes like gold
Oh, what you do to me
No one knows

And I realize you’re mine
Indeed a fool of mine
And I realize you’re mine
Indeed a fool of mine
Ahh

I journey through the desert
Of the mind with no hope
I found low
I drift along the ocean
Dead lifeboats in the sun
And come undone
Pleasently caving in
I come undone

And I realize you’re mine
Indeed a fool of mine
And I realize you’re mine
Indeed a fool and mine
Ahhh

Heaven smiles above me
What a gift can be love
But no one knows
A gift that you give to me
No one knows

Iron Maiden - Powerslave

Sorry to say it, but Powerslave doesn't really stand up too well to me anymore.  Some of the songs are just too...  Def Leppard.  The Duellists and Back in the Village most notably.  Despite me taking my name from it, Losfer Words is kind of a generic instrumental.

The rest of the songs are great.  Two Minutes is kind of overplayed and Rime has some verses where the lyrics are seriously silly and not well written at all.  But Aces High, Flash of the Blade, and the title track are still fucking great.

On my arbitrary scale of reviewing things arbitrarily, Powerslave gets a 7.5 now.

I love the album, but I haven't listened to it in months.

Nightmare Cinema - Perfect Strangers.

When the members of DT all switch instruments. It's pretty cool.

I've been downloading various Iron Maiden covers the last 24 hours and have been listening to pretty much just these songs.  I have a few really fun ones like After Forever covering The Evil That Men Do and Stormlord doing Moonchild.  I think Lujuria's cover of CHARLO THA HARLO is fun just cause of the broken English.

Cathedral - Voodoo Fire

You'll never hear a metal tune more tongue-in-cheek than this one. :P
