Zelda: Gamecube vs. Wii

Okay bitches, I need opinions.

Due to people that thinking hiding Christmas presents = throwing a towel over it, I know I'm getting a Wii for Christmas.  The question is, would it be worth getting Twilight Princess for it even though I have the Gamecube version already?

I think that depends on how much you like TP and how much you mind blowing on it. I'd say yes, but I'd wait until you saw it on sale or it has a price drop. There's nothing new but the control scheme and that whole 'the entire world is flipped for right handed people' thing. To be fair, that last one may make it worth going through again all by itself.

While you didn't ask about this game, if all you have is the GC version of RE4 and want to play it again for whatever reason, it's probably worth getting the Wii version. A lot of people were happy with how they upgraded the controls, that has the PS2 content with GC visuals, and it's only $30.

wdescreen support/480p are pretty nifty if you have the tv to do it

The GC version can do 480p. In fact, I'm pretty sure ALL Nintendo released titles support 480p.

Well fine, widescreen :P Also, at the very least my gamecube doesn't support 480p as nintendo seen fit to remove anything other than good ol composite cable hookups from my model of gamecube.

IMO....no. I have the GC version, and have played a good chunk of the Wii version at work.....meh Wii version is fun because of the control scheme, like Eus said. But if you ask me dont get it unless you can get it for almost free.

No, it's more that the whole game world has been mirrored, kinda like mirrored tracks in racing games.
