Im an aussie gamer, and was wondering if i can play american dreamcast games on my australian Dreamcast by using a boot disc? is it possible? has anyone tried it?

I use a Gameshark and boot disc on my US Dreamcast to play Japanese imports. It's always been reliable. I would imagine you being able to do that as well.

yeah, i do have a boot disc, but it is to play back ups of my existing games. i want to import some u.s games and was wondering if i could just use my boot disc. looks like i will just have to take a punt.

I have a boot disc that I used to play Japanese games on my US Dreamcast. Some discs I used were backups, and it worked for me. Just give it a shot - it's not like the Dreamcast can break the discs or permanently damage itself...

Holy cow, my semantics were unclear in my post. D'oh! Anyway, I meant to say that it should work for you. If I can use my boot disc to play imports, you should be able to as well.
