I liked Hard Candy. I also like to watch Dateline's To Catch a Predator, so there you go.
Anyways, watched Casino Royale and was impressed by the new guy. I still don't think he's attractive but he does make a good Bond. I'll rank him second behind Sean Connery.

Saw Shaun of the Dead for the first time.
Liked it, but wasn't blown away. It went from a really fun comedy-action-zombie-buddy movie into this kind of everyone-dies-not-funny-anymore gorefest.

I watched "Heavy Metal" last night. A friend of mine bought it a few months ago and since I haven't seen it in about a year I figured what the hell. I find it's one of those movies you never really get tired of. The soundtrack is bitchin' as well.

Is without a shadow of a doubt the best movie ever. I can't even emote through words the amount of gnar, and awesome.

I went and saw the new TMNT movie last night. Despite all my misgivings, it was actually pretty good. Not fantastic, but pretty good.

Happy Feet- I liked it, some of it was kinda depressing, but for the msot part it was a really clever flick
Pursuit of Happyness- good, inspirational flick. On ething I didn't like: if you saw the trailer, you've pretty much seen the movie, it doesn't really throw many other curve balls out at you.
Children of Men- freaking A. I love this director more than my dog. A haunting movie and concept, well executed, and perfected by a great cast. I <3 Clive Owen

I tried watching Apocalypse Now redux... and it is extremely long and boring.
Started watching at 9:30 p.m., stopped at 1 a.m. and it's still not over. It just keeps dragging on and on and on.

I agree, the Redux is far, far too long.
The Libertine - Pretty boring! Depp is quite good in it, but the film as a whole just felt pointless.
The Graduate - This was really good. It's aged really well.

I recently saw Jurassic Park II: The Lost World and Independance Day. Fun stuff to watch with the sibs when there's nothing else on telly. :P

Saw III - Jeeze it's gruesome. The first one is definitely the best in the trilogy.
Eragon - Never read the book but I read the reviews and was expecting something horrible. So I as pleasently surprised that it wasn't that sucky. It was alright. Nothing to yell and scream about but not so bad I wanted my time back. Still the ending was a cliff-hanger and there probably won't be any sequels made since it did horribly at the box office. I'm not tempted to read the books to find out what happened.
