Last Friday some friends and I were exhausted at a friend's house after a ska show... so we decided to pop on Wayne's World. Such a classic movie.

Just watched the docudrama 'Threads'. You can find it on Google video, but be warned...it is by far the MOST disturbing movie I have ever seen in my life.
I don't think it's humanly possible to sit through that movie and not have nightmares.

I finally got around to watching Pan's Labyrinth. Talk about one depressing motherfucker of a film, Jesus.

I thought it was the opposite. The good guys win, the girl gets her kingdom. They all live happily ever after.
Except the dead guys.

Shrek 3 also. I guess a unenthuthiastic 'watchable' sums it up. I don't regret time spent watching it, but nor do I think I'd have really missed much if I had passed on it. Certainly nowhere as good as the first two, though I figured it wouldn't be going into it.

Recently borrowed "Se7en" from a dude. It was okay, I suppose.

Just rented/watched Dead and Breakfast.
In a word:
awesome
. Not as clever as Shaun of the Dead in terms of zombie film parody, but any movie that features a hip-hop/country/folk trio of dancing zombies that narrate the gore as it happens is a work of genius.
I'm planning on buying it as soon as I can. Also, it has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.

Thunderball - Pretty good Bond film. The underwater scenes are still great.
Snakes on a Plane - Nowhere near as fun as I expected. In fact, it wasn't that fun at all. A missed opportunity.

The Hills Have Eyes.
I liked it. A little slow in places, and some of the gore wasn't as brutal as I would have hoped, but once the dude hits the village the whole film kicks it up a couple notches.
My biggest complaint (besides some of the pacing) would have to be the rape scene. When I heard about it, I thought it was pretty disgusting. But watching it... well, it wasn't hard at all to stomach.
