The new This Will Destroy You album might make a late run for my top five.

I know it leaked last year, but isn't that a 2008 release?

Mine popped through the door just after Christmas, so I choose to count it as 2007 :P Either way, it's awesome.

I didn't actually buy 5 albums from 2007, and the ones I did buy wouldn't be in my top 5. One was Framing Armageddon by Iced Earth, and the other was something else which I will never, ever admit to buying.

Okay, it was

Shit, you're right. I actually meant to put the Daydream Nation Deluxe Vinyl set. The live performance of it and all those covers are awesome (they cover a Beatles song and a Neil Young song).

I've seen the cd special editions. Are they the same?

Yeah, I assume so. The only difference might be that I get a few extra photos and whatnot on the vinyl sleeves. The tracklisting is definitely the same.

I'm adding 3 Inches of Blood - Fire Up the Blades, Kamelot - Ghost Opera, and Epica - The Divine Conspiracy to my since I only really got to listen to them after 2007.

Pretty good year for non shit Power Metal.
