In Progra, the world of characters, the most powerful wizards of all time have forged magical Blue crystals that when used properly unlock the power of control over characters from any game. The chosen humans became "Wizards" and must not revel their abilities. For a time peace was everywhere, and as games developed characters, Progra expanded. Unfortunaly many characters of evil intention banded together to make up Red stones, demonic alterations of the Blue Crystals that created monstrous emotions to overtake humans and create sorcerers. War raged and Humans were used as pawns until they died. Thankfully after years of war, peace returned to Progra and to avoid another cataclysmic war, the Progra was split into zones based on games. Now fast-forward five years to 2008.

So... where are you going with this? Is this a pitch for a video game you're creating? Is this a setup for a tabletop RPG you're creating? Is this a setup for a round robin sort of thing? Is this a setup for a message board "tabletop" RPG where you are the dungeon master and we who want to play create characters and such?
If it's any of the above, there needs to be more than the superficial snippet you've given us.

I couldn't fit this explanation in, I love writing, and i have all these ideas constantly overwhelming me so I write them out. I would like to present this as a story, not a game. Again sorry 4 the confusion
