Okay, so if anyone checks Penny Arcade, you'll probably have seen this from today's posting. But to those who haven't seen it, then this guy will amaze you.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the 3D desktop thing, but I was blown away by the "using your computer while standing five feet away thing." I hope Nintendo and other hardware developers (be it game consoles or computers) take a hint from what this guy is doing.

Man, almost justifies loading bootcamp and Windows XP on my Mac Pro...

... wait, no. No it doesn't.

But it's still damned cool. Suddenly the power of head tracking seems amazing, if only we could also build TVs with stereoptic lenses more cheaply.
