I have a PAL copy of the game, which I'm currently selling on eBay. Someone has asked me whether or not the game can be played in French, but I'm having trouble finding this out. Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Uhm, if you're asking wether the game can be switched to French language, then the answer is most definitely no. I don't know of any PAL games that include multiple languages on one disc.
