Just got to my favorite town in all of KH(2), Halloween Town. Man I love this game!

I'm greatly enjoying SuikV at the moment... But some of these design choices seem backwards as hell. I really shouldn't be thinking the first game in a series did basic things like scrolling through a menu and putting on equipment better. :P

While I'm not the one playing it, I'm not at all impressed with KHII so far. I'm interested in the overall story, but the levels and such have been boring as hell. Just seems like a rehash of part I to me. I'd like to see more NEW levels as opposed to revisting all the old ones. Nan is back in Hollow bastion after going through Twilight town.
As for DQVIII - This game should be over.
Code:
I beat Dhoulmagus and his demny self. Now Jessica is possesed? Come ON!
WAY too much padding to this game. I am now set to do Rydons tower. At least the place looks different.
Money is too hard to come by in this game.

SH:FTNW - The stargate thing just appeared so I'm running around visiting old places to see if there is something new to do.

I played some more in Suikoden V. I got from
Code:
the point where you figure out Salum Borrows was a traitor to you, all the way up to the point where you get Vicki. Her save screen is awesome :P
I had a pretty rough time in the Ceres Ruins. Was it just me, or were enemies doing crazy damage with normal attacks for all of you guys, too?

Not so much....if you use your formation skill every battle it can make it easy. Some of them give a nice boost like letting you attack first, or increasing defense for the first turn, etc.
Suikoden V = Good shit.

I popped in KH2 again after I finished a paper for school and messed around a bit. Got my party to level 55 and just did some ownage in the Underdrome.
Code:
And just for the hell of it I went to take on Sephiroth. He's a lot harder in this game. The last game I was able to beat him at level 47 without too much trouble thanks to Second Chance, but this time around he is much more brutal. I did manage to knock three health bars off of him before he killed me, but that was only thanks to Counterguard and Retaliating Slash. Nuts.
With summer coming I'm probably going to tackle the game in Proud mode to get that second movie at the end.

Does using a Formation skill take up your whole turn, or can you input commands after using one? I've never really used one before you mentioned this :P

The Formation skill is like a Unite skill for the whole party, so it takes up a whole turn. If you have the unfriendly or whatever status, you can't use it. You can still use it if people are down, though.

I've finally beaten DMC:SE, that game was great. I'm probably going to play through as Vergil now or maybe try for 'S' grades in all missions. After that i'm going to try to finish Shadow Hearts: Covenant since I put that game down after the first disc was finished. I have a really bad habit of playing games two-thirds of the way through and forgetting about them.

DQ VIII - It only took 60 hours for the damn scenery to change. Snow! Yeah!
Code:
Alright, so now I'm headin into snow country chasing after some mutt with a stick. Glad to have Jess back in the group. The men were gettin lonely.
; - )
Multi-heal is the shiz. Took too damn long to get it, though.
