Whoever pays 85 (that's something like 150 US Dollars) just needs a slap in the face. It doesn't even sound good.

I don't care if the sandwich can wash your dishes, I'm not paying that much for one.

If I could afford to casually buy something like that, holy shit I would. Sounds good to me. :P

Eh, I'll go for a Fat Sandwich at one of the famous Rutgers U grease trucks instead if I want an artery clogger featuring 2 days' worth of calories in one meal.

Damien, Rob, you guys are Rutgers alums.  Back me up here on the greatness of the grease trucks:P

Indeed.  If you got the cash, then why not?  There's better things out there to get riled up about.  There's way too much foie gras in that thing to make me consider eating one, though. :P

I don't think I'd like foie gras, but who knows. All I know is that from the picture and the description, that thing looks fucking excellent! I agree with Eus, if I could casually buy something like that, I totally would.

Ill still stick with bread and cream cheese and some good ol cheap fast food. I think no food is worth that much no matter how fancy it is. It can still be just as fufilling eating something good cheap.

When I saw the price and heard the name of the meat, the first thing that came to mind was Chinese Baby Meat. Poor Chinese families could sell their unwanted babies to some supreme Japanese meat-monger for a substantial fee. And the economy on the sellers' side would be nicely stimulated. Overpopulation + baby butchery = yayness in the likening of "A Modest Proposal".

But seriously, the idea of completely smashed cattle amuses me. :)
