I'm intrigued in playing this. Back when the first screens were shown, I was interested. I like the art of the characters.

This game is definitely one of the biggest influences in why I will be purchasing a PS3 sometime. Sega RPGs have always rocked the house, and everything about this game looks to do the same. Awesome art design and the gameplay looks fantastic!

PS3fanboy.com had stated that the game was developed by Overworks, but they didn't cite any sources. Any idea if this is true?

Does this game have a main website yet? It looks like the PS3 is going to be for JRPG fans like me just like the good old PS2. :)

Most previews say VC was made by the Skies of Arcadia team, so yes.

I want this game, and I'll probably buy it first day. Just hope it and WKS come out around the same time.

I've been anxiously awaiting this game since that very first trailer, and I agree when Sega really puts their dedication into it they can make some really fantastic RPGs like Skies of Arcadia etc.

The art style is fantastic and the character designs look really good.  The mix of traditional SRPG with this new full movement system when you move each of your characters during their turn sounds rather awesome as well.

Favorites at the moment from pictures would be Alicia, one of the seeming antagonists Selvaria who's design naturally makes me think of one of my favorites in KOS-MOS, and Eleanor.  Eleanor looks a bit like that character in Bleach who's a subordinate of that laid-back Captain whose name I can't think of at the moment.

Does anyone know who's doing the music for the game?
The trailer song is really nice.

The style looks great, the game looks fun, and if it has the Skies of Arcadia team behind it this might be the best thing Sega's put out since the death of the Dreamcast aside from Yakuza. Heck, it would probably surpass that for me.

The attack sequence in the recent trailers was quite kick ass.

I gotta say, purchasing a PS3 has become much more of an option lately.  Finally, good things are happening for it!

The game looks fantastic!

The PS2 had suckass releases for the first year or so also, don't forget. Each PS gen has (thankfully) been an RPG magnet, and I figured I wouldn't be disappointed here. I'm glad I bought my PS3 when I did.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, but the combat isn't turned based in this game, is it?

Indeed, it isn't.

By the way, because somebody asked before, the development team or many of its members have previously worked on the Sakura Taisen series.

Overworks and some other division in Sega merged together, at least that's what's stated on wikipedia.

Great news about the full soundtrack release, I had no idea Hitoshi Sakimoto was the composer.  I really love the music used in the trailers, hopefully the soundtrack will be fantastic.

I'm really looking forwards to this game a ton.
