i 26+ hours on tales of abyss and change the difficulty from normal to hard the i dont have any challange in normal. .... it quite enjoyable on hard but i wil get less xp in battles becuase of it ?

You should get the same XP, I believe.
The only differences that I know of are enemies have more HP and they do way more damage.
Hard mode should definitely offer up a good challenge compared to normal mode.
