I'm pretty sure this hasn't been posted yet. If it has, uhhh... IS Merging possible? Not that it's a big deal, I'm just kinda tired of seeing all these locked topics.
Anyways.
RPGs:
Mass Effect
Earthbound
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
Persona 3
Final Fantasy V Advance
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (Normal and Nightmare)
Final Fantasy IV DS
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen (Happy Ending)
Fallout
Adventure/Close Enough:
Wonder Boy in Monster World
River City Ransom
Okami
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Yakuza
I'm likely to beat Earthbound twice if it happens to surface on the VC, plus it isn't a really long game.

Mass Effect & Lost Odyssey are the only RPG's I have played/beaten so far this year, but I'm currently playing FF:CC Ring of Fates for DS. I have beaten ALOT of non-RPG's this year though.

Final Fantasy XII : Revenant Wings
Shin Megami Tensei : Nocturne
Final Fantasy VI Advance
Lost Odyssey
SMT Nocturne easily jumps into my top 10 rpg's list. I plan on playing Folk Lore and Mass Effect soon too, but I need to fit that in with DDS1 & 2 and Persona 3 FES.

Final Fantasy Tactics
Orcs & Elves (which was way more fun than Final Fantasy Tactics, actually).

Dude, if you haven't already, give Earthbound 0 a shot (it's basically a prototype ROM for the American release of the original Mother). It's no Earthbound but it's interesting to see where series originated and it definitely has moments of quirky atmosphere. Great game.

Lets see, I've beaten.
Blue Dragon
Eternal Sonata
I thought I beat a few more but thats all that comes to mind. I am almost done with Lost Odyssey and Persona 3.

Tales Of The Abyss
Xenosaga 2
- Despite liking the story, I'm glad I'll never have to play it again.
Mass Effect
I'll be wrapping up
Lost Odyssey
soon, although I'm really enjoying it I'm finding the side quests and related back tracking too tedious to carry on.

Gave it a try awhile back when Mother 3 was coming out but I haven't even gotten out of the first town. I've been considering giving it another spin.

I'm pretty sure Persona 3 was this year, so it's that, Dragon Quest Monster: Joker, and Soul Nomad.
Not a lot happening in the genre, unfortunately, at least not on the PS2, anyway. The next couple months are going to be great, though, thanks to the two Persona titles and Mana Khemia.
