Sorry, the 5 threads just looked so lonely!

Has anyone else heard of this soft drink in Japan?  I really want to taste them, but I would find it weird to try and import them.  I also think the flasks they come in are really neato completo! (I'll never say that again).

It's apparently some kind of herbal energy drink thing, so yeah, alcohol free. I want one! The bottles look cool as hell, and it's a fun piece of merchendise. Still waiting for them to start selling Phoenix Downs, though.

I wasn't sure, because they're made by Suntory I think, which makes liquor.

I could've pre-ordered some where I work, but the cost would still be $9-$10 or so dollars per bottle and you had to order at least a few cases. I'd like a bottle or two myself, but not a couple cases' worth. I've seen it go for about $13 a bottle at NCSX, but it looks like they've stopped taking pre-orders. It makes me wonder how much people will charge for a full set on EBay when they are released soon.

Since I'm going to be tracking these on E-bay, I'll keep you posted on the price of them.  I definitely will not pay $12 per bottle, but I'll try to get one just to try it.  Plus, the design of the bottles is really cool.  It would also just be fun to say "I'm drinking a potion" when people ask what your drinking.

Ho ho...kick ass!  I wonder if they work too, you know, like if some greasemonkey throws a wrench at you, they will cure your injuries...

Heh...anyway, sounds interesting.  I want to try some.

You know. With the forums now connected to the rest of the site by a sidebar, there is no goddamned reason not to link to the news articles related to your topic.

Thank you, have a good day. ^___^

As annoying as it is to link off-site when RPGFan reported on it previously, I think it's a little too harsh to go on someone's case for a news story that's /monthes/ old. If I wanted to bring that up, I'd rather just hit Google unless I specifically remembered it was here. :P

I'm doubting it, but I'm hoping this gets a domestic release. You can buy stuff like Midori here, so hey.

I want some of that too.

I feel the ones who would really get the most kick of of this are the biggest hardcore FF fans who is obsessed with actual roleplaying.

But he did rummage through Joystiq to get a post that's over a month old.

Well, that was me. And it's just a habit of mine - whenever I want to find information on anything I just use the Google search box that's built into Firefox, and Joystiq was the first site that came up with info about the Potion drinks. It's not like I did it out of spite, or to imply that the RPGFan news coverage suck. Does this mean that we're supposed to scan through the whole news archive before we post any off-site information, just for the off chance that it's already been reported about on RPGFan?

And, you know, in this case the RPGFan news post didn't have the information daschrier was looking for, while Joystiq informs us that it's an energy drink.
