Well ok, no PSN or WiiWare versions, and if you haven't bought a new computer in the last decade you're probably screwed. I may just go with the PC version on this.

So hey, it's announced for release next week. Reviews so far seem mixed, but unless I'm hearing a lot more bad than good I'll be checking it out. Anyone else?

I have a feeling this game will suck so much dick that Tera Patrick will feel pangs of envy.  I'm gonna have to pass. :P

Well, I've gotta admit - I had a similar thought.  "Practically everything" to me would mean "almost every console out there, as well as most PCs."  Instead, it's on Xbox, PC, Linux, and Mac.

Aha, but we're in the PC forum; to me, "practically anything" in the PC forum relates to video cards, etc.

First blood is well and truly yours. I admit defeat in the face of your superior "noticing the forum" skills. :)

I tried the demo out! The gameplay's serviceable enough, but comparing the PC and XBLA versions it definitely plays better with the X360 controller.

I finished the game the other day.  It was surprisingly challenging, mainly due to the attention you have to pay during battles in order to time your blocks.

It's a neat blend of point-click-adventure and turn-based/ATB style RPG combat.

It might be a little too schizophrenic if you aren't a Penny Arcade reader, though.  I liked it... I'm sure I'll like the sequels too.

Oh, and when I first started playing, I was reminded of Septerra Core.
