Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere... DVD

Best. Music. DVD. EVAR.

The only disappointment is Buying New Soul, which differs quite a bit from the recorded version, and really lacks emotion IMO.

Highlights: Arriving Somewhere but not Here, Start of Something Beautiful, Trains. It's all fucking excellent though.

Also picked up Black Label: Boozed, Broozed & Broken-Boned.

Stop buying Porcupine Tree, damn it!

PS - One of my pals who just moved back here from Canada is apparently a really huge Porcupine Tree fan.  The two of you should GET MARRIED.

I can't help Porcupine Tree being the best band EVAR. OK, exaggeration, but I love them :|

And I will only marry them if they are a man. Standards, you know.

I wish I could find other porcupine tree albums to like. I mean, In Absentia is one of my favorite albums ever, but Signify is really boring, and Deadwing strikes me as being really lame nu-metal with masturbatory, way-too-clean, incredibly boring guitar solos (Which is actually what pretty much every review says about the album. Should've listened to those.)

Anyway, The Shins - Oh Inverted World!

Reminds me of the Olivia Tremor Control so far, with a bit of Karl Blau.

Have you tried Stupid Dream or Lightbulb Sun? Two of PT's best, better than Deadwing IMO. Up The Downstair is also very worth a look.

Lupe Fiasco - Food and Liquor

I know most of you are all metalheads, but anyone who likes hip hop in anyway, owes it to  themself to get this album.  This has been my most anticipated album this year, and has in all truth, been the only album I've bought this year.
