I also picked up the Moonloop EP from Porcupine Tree, but on CD. It's good, but definitely background music.

I'm a huge fan of improvisational space rock (night-timey ambience is a big plus), so I think I'll really enjoy this once I get a new record player.

All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

Blind Guardian - A Twist in the Myth
A lot better than I thought it would be. "Carry the Blessed Home" is my favorite track.
Cheap Gershwin + Wagner albums at Best Buy - Loved them both, but at least I got to introduce some older music to my roommate.
Queen 1+A Night at the Opera - Both classics, of course. "Liar" just might be my favorite Queen track yet (until tomorrow..).

Trivium - The Crusade

I don't care what anyone says, i'm really liking this disc.  It's totally different from their other stuff.  It's got an old-school Metallica flavor to it I suppose.

Hehe...no. :)

I bought:

The Futureheads - The Futureheads
The Beatles - Revolver

Both discs are great. "I'm Only Sleeping" is a wonderful song. So isn't "Meantime."

omg triple post

The Beatles - 1967-1970 (nicknamed The Blue Album).

I nicked it off my mum, because I've been meaning to listen to some later-period Beatles for a while now. Good stuff.
