I got music t-shirts, they count, right? :P
I got a random Audioslave t-shirt. While far from my favourite band, I love Tom Morello, the t-shirt looked cool, and was cheap.

Bastard.
...I BOUGHT CDS TODAY.
Although I have decided to limit myself to £12 a week, cause I have to be responsible or something.
I got Bruce Dickinson's
The Best of Bruce Dickinson
and Symphony X's
Live on the Edge of Forever
. I have heard the Bruce one countless times and it still rocks, but the Sy X one is so fucking excellent.

Eno/Moebius/Roedelius - After the Heat
Sort of like Another Green World but sort of darker and much less happy. Fascinating. Will need to listen to it more.

King Crimson - Epitaph
A very nice collection of live performances by the original King Crimson. Epitaph and The Court of the Crimson King are amazing here, and hearing Greg Lake sing 21st Century Schizoid Man live is probably one of the best parts of this album. There's also an early extended version of Pictures of a City, one or two previously unheard songs, and plenty of improv tracks, which is where the album really shines. I'm starting to respect the improv spots a bit more, and I especially like the jazzy ones found on this disc, such as 'Travel Weary Capricorn.' This album is awesome.

In the past few days I've bought:
The Libertines - Up the Bracket
Some asshole stole my copy, so I had to buy it again.
Lou Reed - Rock N' Roll Animal
This is actually on Vinyl. I found it at my local record store for $3.
Dirty Pretty Things - Bang Bang You're Dead 7"
I snagged a signed, unplayed copy of this sold-out single on eBay for a total of $20.
Television - Marquee Moon
I've only heard about half of this album, but is amazing. It sounds like Richard Hell, but way more artsy. Tom Verlaine is a great guitarist.
The Smiths - The Smiths
This is a great album, but someone should have mixed the song order better. After song nine, the rest are all kind of lackluster.
More to come in the next week.

Talkin Heads - Fear of Music. Really guitar heavy. Having not heard anything earlier than Remain in Light, this is sort of weird.

After much searching, I found a copy of "No Interference" by Dysrhythmia and picked it up.
Wow, what an amazing album. I have all of Dysrhythmia's albums that I know of: Contradiction, No Interference, Pretest, Barriers & Passages and No Interference is easily my favorite album by the band. Tracks like "Orbiting" and "Nutritional Facelift" are stellar. And this is no faint praise given that everything the band writes is amazing.

Xanadu is indeed great. Glad to finally hear the track that everyone says OLO DT RIPPED OFF.
Also, Atom Heart Mother rocks. One of my favourite Floyd albums.
