Anyone know of, or heard of them? Just curious because they are my favorite band and their newest cd "Blackbird" got outstanding reviews from critics. It seems they are more popular overseas because the album is already platinum over there and it has only sold like 150,000 copies here in the states.

Isn't that just Creed without Scott Stapp or something? Pass.

No. never say that again. They sound completely different than Creed did. They are more rock than Creed was and there new singer is MUCH MUCH better.

I don't see Iron Maiden, Rush, Death Metal, or Dan Swano mentioned in this thread.
I call shenanigans.

Well, you're half right. :P Musically, they sound exactly the same to my ear. Myles Kennedy is a great singer, though...I just think he'd be better off in something like Velvet Revolver.

If you are going by their first cd "One Day Remains", then yes they sound similar. Have you heard their new cd "Blackbird" though? It sounds alot different because Myles actually got to be apart of the songwriting etc... Their first cd was written when Scott Stapp was still in the band and was supposed to be the next Creed cd, but they kicked him and had Myles sing instead. Blackbird is definitely much better.

It’s definitely a big improvement of their previous CD.

Couldn’t say, my judgement is based entirely off listening to several songs from the album on youtube. I might give it a listen the whole way through at some point though.
