According to The Magicbox they have both been listed at gamefly as coming to the NA. I certainly hope so, because I want them.

They're pretty good though. Their general story remains the same regardless of the makeover though. So new stuff aside the story is the same for both games.

Wonder if they're gonna be bundled together for release in the US though? O_o

They'd be a decent reason for me to spring for a PSP.

I would guess that Star Ocean 1 will be out in the fall for Xmas, and maybe SO 2 will be out in the spring? Maybe in that dead time around February/March of next year?

I've never played SO1 on rom, so I would like to pick this up.

One of the reasons I first got my PSP.  Hope they're out soon.

Fuck the MagicBox, they reported the Light Warrior in FF Dissidia was Lenneth. That alone pretty much completely destroys their credibility. Anyways, I did see SO1 and 2 on Gamefly and they're separate. After the PSP ports of FF1 and 2 I really don't see SE being nice and bundling games together like that.

Having some SO remakes for my PSP would be full of win.  Especiallyu since I've never played SO1.

Though I do have to wonder, do they ever intend to remake Blue Sphere?  I never did get a crack at that one, either.

Blue sphere was lame. It was a good epilouge for SO2 yes but... its gameplay and length was horrible. -.-;;

I haven't played an SO before even though I have SO3 which I need to open sometime but if I like SO3 then I will definitely be hoping these 2 come to North America.

I really want to play the PSP remakes. I never got a chance to play The Second Story, so I'll have to get that when I get a PSP. I would also get First Departure.

Count another person waiting for those remakes to come to America.
