I prefer the Gundam Style version somebody posted here a while back.  Unfortunately it got taken down from Youtube because of a copyright claim.  Fortunately, Vimeo doesn't seem to care about copyrights...either that or nobody cares about Vimeo.

Come on, it really sounds like he's saying Gundam.  Once you've made that connection you can't go back...

It's even worse considering that places like Viddler and Blip.TV, which were fairly decent competitors to Youtube for a time, are now trying to out-shill Youtube in terms of ridiculously shitty restrictions (I know that Viddler at least has put a cap on viewership to a person's account; in other words if one of your videos goes viral you're basically fucked).

Seriously.  The fucking Mars rover landing video got flagged for copyright infringement and until later they put it back up.  The system is retarded.

They weren't until recently. It just feels like the corporations are now going after the channels directly which have scared the collective piss out of them and they're frantically penalizing anybody who even looks like they might be thinking of stepping out of line, regardless of who or what they might be.

But more likely is because some of these video hosting sites are run by monkeys and their site's growth is outpacing their business sense.
