Have you heard Slapstick - There's a Metalhead in the Parking Lot, Daggerstrike? If not check it out, it'll be good for a laugh.

I have not listened to much Slapstick. What I have heard I enjoy so I will definitely check that out.

All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

Yeah, they remind of Operation Ivy, but with horns. They only have one album out on Asian Man Records, but it collects all the stuff they released. Give it a spin.

Laughing Stock in particular is just phenomenal... so goddamn good....

I'm gonna have to say I prefer Spirit of Eden, but also that New Grass from Laughing Stock is easily the best song from either album and one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

I also really agree with you that Funeral kicks Neon Bible's ass.

I find myself frequently tuning into the electro station in GTAIV. It's got a few good tracks on there.

Agreed! That and Journey (the ambient one with Jean Michel Jarre and Aphex Twin) are my most listened stations.

My favorite bands are:

 Alison Krauss and Union Station
 Nickel Creek
 The Foo Fighters
 Weezer
 Incubus
 The Duhks
Chris Thile's group (How to Grow a Band/Punch Brothers)
instrumental progressive bluegrass (Bela Fleck, Bryan Sutton, Alison Brown, etc.)

So I guess that means I like progressive bluegrass & rock, mainly. Also, any great game soundtrack, such as Ar Tonelico, which I am just now playing.

But I'll listen to any good shit I find.

Seems like every three years I get into a different style of music. I used to listen to 50s, 60s, and 70s music exclusively as a kid.

I listen to all kinds of stuff. I should just copy and paste my sister's(mizuki_no_beatdown)list, since we have very similar taste. I just like rock a little bit more than she does is all.

*shakes fist* I'm not really copying you, 'cuz I'm older an' all that.

I have a wide range of tastes, probably the weakest taste being country music [Though Brad Paisely is pretty spiffy at times]. Because I like to dance, I love listening to BMC (Baltimore Club Music), southern rap (repetitive hooks/base), EBM (Electronic body music), ska, death metal, black metal, general electronica, industrial, some general pop and some alternative rock. Plus I have a secret obsession with VGM (Midi or MP3). Some of my favorite folks are Architecture in Helsinki, M.I.A, Aiboforcen, a lot of peeps off the Ghostly International label, Massive Attack, Del the Funky Homosapien, Thievery Corporation, Freezepop, RATM, Apoptygma Bezerk . . . .
