Suikoden 4 game problem with the final Naval battle

Yeah you're in the wrong level, you should be in level 50+. If you're in level 40 and below then you're just not in the right level.

If you're at the last boss, you probably either missed him completely....or have not sailed the right route that the Ghost Ship does.....

If you already played through the Ghost Ship and didn't get Ted....you missed out.

You need atleast 70 stars of destiny, and then go into the war room. But, yeah, since you're at the end. It's too late.

The guides online doesn't tell me about Ted or the ghost ship. I guess I have to wait until my next playthrough the game.

Dade, you should know by now that GameFAQs doesn't let you directly link to a faq.  Doesn't negate what you said, though. :P

Okay fine.....then to explain it to our friend who doesnt know what a fucking search engine is....

Click and drag your mouse cursor over one line of those links....highlight it until it turns a nice blue color. Now, here you can do one of three things: 1) you can hold CTRL and push C, 2) You can right click and choose Copy, or 3) go into the Edit menu at the top of your browser and click, then choose copy there.

Then Paste it using almost any of those methods into your address bar and then push enter. Then....when inside chosen FAQ, hold CTRL and push F. This should open a box that will let you search. Type in almost any string you can think of and it will search the entire faq for said search string.

Type in Ted....and it'll bing up EXACTLY how to recruit him.

Anyways, yeah. I had no problems finding out how to get Ted in those FAQs. Maybe you were looking in the wrong game or hoping it'd be in the main walkthrough? Hell, I think one or two of those mention during the course of the normal walkthrough and not one of the additional segments.

I have a feeling this will degenerate quickly (yeah I know, like it hasn't already :P), so here are the lessons learned from this thread:

1.  Ctrl + F for the win.  Right clicking and choosing copy comes in a close second.

2.  It's against the rules to cuss here, you fucking cocksuckers.

3.  If you can't find a character's name in a list, you should probably switch over to a genre less taxing on your reading comprehension.
