The slightly slippery tip wouldn't slip into the hole.

I didn't come to RPGfan to talk about nonRPGs either but we have a subforum for it. (actually I suppose we have the music and book subforums too, which are probably better examples).

Although I really don't give a shit about that article.  I don't even know who those people are.

I guess the point is someone might care.

If someone cares then they'll probably be at a website with general gaming news.

Vil, if you don't like it, okay, but to be an asshat about it is uncalled for. And if you feel the need to complain there is the "site" board, it's the first one at the top. Bitch there :)

What the fuck is going to happen to this planet?

Dude, not appropriate at any rate. We may cover RPGs first and foremost, but it's not like we ignore other far-reaching video game news. The Sony story is pretty important to any news site, so what does it hurt to report on it?

The problem is that there's quite a few news stories that are more relevant that never pop up on the front page, like game announcements or releases, yet some random going ons with SCE pop up. I don't have a problem so long as the other stuff's covered well or at least Nintendo and Microsoft had equal coverage, but at best they're the exception.

Thanks everyone for the concern. Our staff actually met about this issue recently and we will be reallocating our coverage accordingly.

Thanks and stay tuned for changes in RPGFan in the coming months.

We realize this like JP said. The point of this thread could have been put across in a less douchebagged sort of way.
