It looks enjoyable enough for me to purchase!! It looks to me like a more intense and mature version of Kingdom Hearts.

Dude, have you checked out the final battle(s) in Kingdom Hearts II? Those were pretty intense...

Besides, this looks NOTHING like Kingdom Hearts; I'm reminded more of Dynasty Warriors, or something like that; vast field, big armies, etc.

There was a feature in some gaming magazine a year or two ago, which pretty much sold me on this game...

...but I'm still going to be waiting awhile; I probably won't spring on next-gen console until FFXIII comes out, or I finally finish my PS2 backlog. Then again, if next gen gaming is good enough, I'll probably say Hell with It and nix my PS2 collection, and finally move onto building a next gen game collection.

Cool, Tsuyoshi Sekito's doing the music. Really talented guy. I thought his Brave Fencer Musashi soundtrack was stellar and he's a good guitarist.

This is actually rationalized in that interview: the UE3 really wasn't finalized for the PS3 until the release of UT3, so that held up development of the PS3 version. Given the other games affected by this it's a pretty valid reason.

Yes, I've completed Kingdom Hearts I and II several times. I didn't say they weren't intense, I just said The Last Remnant looks more intense.

I say it's like KH mainly because it's supposed to be some sort of action RPG. I'm not talking about any platforming or anything, just the action. And yes, it does look somewhat like Dynasty.

I'm a selfish bastard that has a PS3 and not a 360, that's why. I plan on buying a 360 soon anyways, but I still wanted it for the PS3.

Lets see how it does. New Squeenix titles tend to be a hit (TWEWY) or a miss (Drag-on Dragoon).
