I have a bad feeling about this game. It looks just like Lost Odyssey or Infinite Undiscovery. I read an interview at one point from someone working on the game even that said they didn't put much thought into some aspects of it. That got me worried. Maybe it was a bad translation...

That....doesn't sound like a good way to promote a game.

Also, true to what you mention, some aspects of this game and IU look quite similar and almost interchangable.

I’m approaching this with cautious optimism. Some of the screens I’ve seen have been kind of... bland, and the voice acting doesn’t sound crash hot. The gameplay still looks interesting though.

Reviews aren't the ultimate word on a game. They're very helpful and I always find it ridiculous when someone just blows them all off, but blindly following them can be just as ignorant. Anyways while Unlimited Saga's widely regarded as trash the reception on the other titles is much more mixed.

Also, Amazon pre-order sale guys. I'm amazed they're offering it for $40.

I agree that most RPG reviews shouldn't be taken as anything more than maybe a guideline instead of a decision maker, but those "from the makers of" credits are just as bad.

Anyway, I think this game looks alright but I'm not crazy about the QTEs during battle, so I'm definitely wait-and-see on it right now.

Yeah, I just found out about that. 40 dollars is a great deal. Even if you don't like the game, sell it on Ebay and you're bound to break even or make a profit. Anyway, for 40 dollars, I'm interested:P.
