I imagine a lot of them got early access, but to counterbalance that I imagine a lot of them have 'how will this run at a minimum?' criteria, and it's not like everyone has a HD or is willing to free up space just because this game loads like crap.

Players seem to drop like flies in this message board! Can't take the pain! Anyways, for those still trekking on, whereabouts are you? I'm well into disk 2 now, and I think I'm getting very low on additional side-quests. I just found out the major plot-twist to the story, and well... it was a bit underwhelming. Nothing you really wouldn't expect. It's not a groundbreaking twist but it gets the job done.

I think I'm nearing the end of this adventure. Thank god I love the battle system and uber challenge or else I would have given up a long time ago.

I got the Soundtrack...  what a waste on such a mediocre title.  The music is damn near perfect. =D

It's all about the battle themes for me!

Anyways, I'm still hanging in there, having too much fun to quit. I haven't made it to disc 2 yet though. I like taking my sweet time. Also, I'm tryin to track down some of those guild task monsters and having no luck with a couple of 'em. Feh.

I thought the music was pretty well done. Since the battles sometimes do drag on to 20-25 minutes it does get a little repetitive though. I also think the soundtrack is well done! I just finished the game though. Characters were all at BR 99 by end game. Last boss' had remarkably less HP than I anticipated, though experiences could obviously change depending on Battle Ranks. Must have been all those damn dragons in the game with a kajillion HP.

After going through the game and completing a majority of side-quests, and completing the main story quest, I have to say despite all the flaws I really liked this game. It kept me glued to the screen for almost a month! For those hardcore fans, I'd definitely give it a try. One problem I found was that I never felt anything for the story or charactesr. It wasn't amazing but super fun battles. I'd give it like a 7.8/10.

Ouch with all the bad reviews.  I must have the patience of Job and the low standards of someone who would date Paris Hilton, because I'm really enjoying this game.  I'm playing it off the disc and the load times don't bother me at all.  Maybe because I played Magna Carta, I'm immune now.

Naw, I'm playin' it, same as her, and its not an issue with me either. Or, maybe we're both just weirdos, cuz' I'm also playin' it on a 13 inch TV. Bwahaha!

People hoping for the PS3 version to run better should probably not get their hopes up. There is the PC version though, and I'm sure a powerful enough computer will pretty much kill the issues via raw power!

That doesn't mean that they won't, but you're right it seems unlikely that they will, which is a shame.

Yeah, it could just be an extreme pain to do so. Alternatively, they notice dumb things after the fact that are easy to fix.
