The Office and Film Literature Classification, which is the Australian version of the ESRB has rated Mega Man 9 as a 'G' for General Audiences. It's also listed as multi-platform. When I read this, I exploded with joy. I can't remember how long it's been since I've prayed for a Mega Man 9 to be developed, and now I /finally/ may get my wish. Let's hope it's announced at E3 next month.

Hmm...  Mega Man Legends 1, 2, and Tron Bonne.  Collection.  On the PSP.  ...And ported to NA.

I only really enjoyed Mega Man ZX and Legends.
So, if it isn't Mega Man Legends 3, nor a sequel to Mega Man ZX Advent, than I'm not happy.

A new MegaMan eh?  I am all for a new entry in the series, as long as it stays 2D, and sticks to the mold: eight bosses, some Rush forms, multi-tiered Skull Castle, etc.  Seriously, the first eight games were all great, it's not broke, don't fix it, just update it, and I will be happy.

Rumor's confirmed. It's shown in the latest Nintendo Power as a WiiWare title developed by Inticreates, the developers of Zero/ZX for those that don't know. It's also being made to look like a lost 8-bit title. Here's Wired's story.

Wow, that's crazy and awesome that they're going retro NES for the new one! And a WiiWare title? Again, fuck yea!!

I'm only hoping for some major tie-ins to the X series this time around, but I'll take what I can get regardless.
