Mmo-champion's saying that if you've had a wow sub for 12 months(Presumably consecutive before release) you get diablo 3 free.

That's some genius marketing right there given wows current state where people are prone to taking breaks from the game and coming back.

you get a demo with battlefield 3

... Really hope they announce something like "If you have ME2 registered with us you can get the demo" for that promo. For Diablo III itself, yeah, that really IS a good idea, though I'd rather get the physical (or CE) version than stick with a digital download.

I've been reading that if you buy the physical CE and add the code to your account later down the line, you get another 4 months added to your subscription for "free."

I got a phishing email claiming that I've been accepted into the Diablo III beta, and all I have to do is email them my battlenet account name and password. Pretty good timing... but I didn't fall for it.

Lots of Blizzard-related phishing going on lately. I keep getting these emails saying "it's come to our attention that you're trying to sell your WoW account." Thing is, I don't play WoW. I did once, for about 2 days when they had the 10 day free trial thing going on. Apparently, you can forward those emails to hacks@blizzard.com and they'll... I don't know. Know about it?

Opening cinematic. It LOOKS good, but I personally liked the opening for D2 a lot more. I just didn't feel very excited watching this...can't really put my finger on it.

I enjoyed it. It was a nice change of pace from D2 and was reflective of the fact that it's been a long time since Diablo was in the public eye, both in game and in the real world.
