Interestingly, MF items on your hireling still add to your own MF but it only gives you a fraction of it (a MF6% item gave me MF1%)
Still doable but now you can also gear up for something else on him without feeling bad about it.

It does look like quite a bit of effort has been put into the lore. After the initial shock and coming to terms with some of the bigger changes, I'm slowly starting to warm up to it.

The increased emphasis on story appealed to me. I play Diablo for the story, or at least what there is of it. I remember being playing the first two when I was a kid and thinking they had this unholy coolness about them, and wanting to find out more about the grim secrets lurking in the next dungeon. Diablo has great lore, and I was pleased to see in the demo that they didn't skimp on it.

I played Monk and Demon Hunter. I personally found the latter to be a bit more enjoyable, both in terms of character and play style.

Was reading a bunch of passive skills and activated skills today on the D3 wiki. I wanna make every character with the exception of monk - something about monk just doesnt appeal to me.

I'm thinking Witch Doctor first. Which leads me to an old school question i never quite got answered...

I don't have any quotes for you, but I can say I'm 99.999% sure that yes it would.
Mercenaries get your full MF (I tested this) and even add their own MF to your own (Although I think you only get around 25% of it)

I played all of the classes through the beta. I want to like the Monk more than I do and am hoping the later skills will allow that to happen, so I'll probably be playing one as my first character. Demon Hunter also stood out as being very fun and appealing, so that's a likely second candidate. But really, I enjoyed all 5 and will certainly be playing all 5 sooner or later. Hard to believe that it's only days until I can finally play this...

I recently found out I'll actually be able to run the game at medium settings. I might have to turn the shadows and physics down but I watched a few vids and even if I have to, the difference look negligible for the most part. happy:]

I heard they were different than D2 but, couldn't get many details.

I've played so much LoL lately just because I don't want to start any RPG. I just know Diablo3 would make me cancel any other RPG I'm playing =/

Yup.

Gonna buy a new PC today. D2 was in my Top 3 of all time which were TES3, D2 and FF:Tactics so, starting anything else would be silly.

I have Tactics Ogre on the PsP, that can stay...

I don't like the looks of the monk and more importantly don't like the character concept. I wanted a sword and shield character similar to the pally. Dang. No character focuses on 1h/shield combo in D3. That and the online only are my biggest disappointments so far. Don't force yourself to like it more, either you do or - you just aint into it.

Not sure when I'll be on but - pretty soon.

Getting super close. Living in Japan I never know exactly when it'll come,  i don't want the digital release in this case, I want the box and all.

I haven't played the beta so, going in totally fresh ( aside from 10-15 some odd years of d2 on and off).
