Generation of Chaos

I'm planning to get a PSP ASAP, and this is one of the first games I want to buy.  The steep learning curve that I've been hearing about, is the only thing I'm unsure about right now, especially because I never played Dragon Force or very many games like this.  I've liked everything NIS America has chosen to release stateside, so I'll probably take the chance.  I do like the impressions I've seen in this thread though.
