Gotta give props to Microsoft. It's Sony's damn fault for not keeping it PS3 exclusive, though I'll probably still get it for the PS3 (I don't an eight disc 360 game.) That seriously costed the PS3 some sales right there...

Out of all the rumors this one was the hardest to believe. I thought MGS would be announced for the 360 long before a real FF would.

Well, it's a PS3 exclusive in Japan, at the very least, most likely because no one would buy the 360 version in Japan.

There have only been three reasons why I would ever buy a PS3:  Devil May Cry 4, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear Solid 4.  I just need Kojima to come through for me now and I'll kiss Sony goodbye this console generation. :P

Same here. MGS4 and FF13 were huge draws for PS3, but now that MGS4 is the only thing left... man.

I wonder if S-E is going to keep Versus XIII a Sony exclusive? It'd still get people to buy a PS3, but man, Sony fucked up.

It's good for 360 owners, but bad for people like me who bought a PS3 in part to play this game. Oh well, as long as it isn't switched to a 360 exclusive.

You know what's funny? I didn't even like MGS4. Only exclusives I've enjoyed on the PS3 have been Uncharted and Folklore (Sigma doesn't count). That puts the grand total of two exclusives that I've liked on the PS3 against two exclusives that I've liked on the 360. I'm thinking both of these consoles were a mistake for me. I'd have about.... 1200 or so dollars to spend on older console games.

...Damn.

Anyway, I'll pick this up for PS3 so it isn't really news to me.

Well I just woke up 30 mins ago since I had to work on my full time but anyways let me get on topic.

I am utterly shocked for Sony to have lost this game to the 360 just what is up with them. also I don't have to worry for which system to get it since I have both systems. I might get both versions unless one has more content.

This announcement made it worth sitting through the mostly crappy MS conference.  At this point there is a grand total of 1 ps3 exclusive game that I want.  Hell, the Wii is way more promising at this point.  

I hope sony has something amazing to announce tomorrow.
