Also, there was a problem with the D-pads on fat PSPs. Not sure if the problem still exists but it was easy enough to fix, thankfully.

Technically by phasing out said fat PSPs it doesn't exist. I doubt it was ever actually addressed during its lifetime though, I think the slim PSP was when they fixed that stuff up. Also, I think the only changes made for the slim's D-Pad were making it shift around less and raising it up, both vastly improving its quality.

The DS has a bit of a problem with the D-Pad though. Requires too much force, especially with diagonals. It's a pain in the ass for something like FFIV that decided to make all house interiors isometric for some reason, though (and to shift this back on topic!) Bleach DS had a good solution in just ignoring the diagonal. Moves would be, say, Down then Forward rather than Down, Down/Forward, and Forward. Actually, I recall hearing that moves for the HD SFII would be 'simplified' on the Sixaxis, so I have to wonder if that's how they'll do it. I don't want stuff dumbed down especially when it's on the platform with the superior D-Pad for fighters, but that kind of dumbing down would at least allow moves to actually work should it fail to register that diagonal.

I'm pretty slow and only pre-order some things...  I have to go to a bunch of Walmarts and EBs hoping to find one.  :P

...Then there's the fact games in Canada usually come out a day or two after America.  D:

I will be getting a PS3 version as well though!  We should D-D-D-DUEL.

I was feeling nostalgic and ordered a copy of MVC2 a while ago. I ended up paying a lot less because I bought the Japanese version, which is nearly identical to the US version. Unlocking characters is a real grind though.

As far as graphics go, my favorite fighter has to be Street Fighter 3, as I'm a big fan of detailed sprites. I'm also looking forward to SF4, and am going to try and play it in Tokyo before I leave Japan. And as excited as I am at prospects of a MVC3, I'm actually more looking forward to Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, which looks absolutely beautiful so far. Hopefully it will be as over the top as the MVC series.

Anyone else digging Arcana Heart as much as I am?  Fighting fans shouldn't be fooled by the cutesy appearance.  This game has a really deep system that will kick your ass and keep hardcore fighting fans busy for days learning the system.  I'm still getting my ass kicked by the game even at the lowest difficulty settings.  Yoriko's the only character I get anywhere with.  Kamui's good too, but I'm much better with Yoriko.

Mine's Eusis, though I don't have the game.

I'd like to remind that you can make separate profiles on the PS3 and keep saves for games independent and whatnot! Though you'll hae to share if you get something like Warhawk as a Downloaded title.

Yeah, Nad.  Online play is surprisingly refreshing compared to playing with robots.

...That'd be a good idea for a film.  A pornographic film.
