I'm not sure why Cowboy Bebop needed a live action movie, given that it had it's own movie just a couple years ago. 0.o
If the music is as good as the normal series, I'll give it a go. No Yoko Kanno style, no me in the seat, though.

Why do people get so worked up over things like this? Will the Anime suddenly suck because the movie didn't turn out well? Honestly in the end the Anime will still be good so it isn't too big a deal if this movie flops.
Heck, if anything it will be a throwaway movie people can joke about in 10 years time.
For example:
Guy 1: Hey, do you remember that shitty live action film they made of Cowboy Bebop a few years back?
Guy2: Oh god yes. I can’t believe they gave Keanu Reeves creative control after how badly Johnny Mnemonic 2 failed.

I thought they already did this.
It was called Firefly.

If it turns out half as awesome as Firefly it'll have been worth the trouble(I don't think they're all that similar, though).
If it ends up sucking balls, we can laugh. Laughing is good for thy navals. I can't do anyone else's talking, but I don't want no unhealthy naval. :/

If it ends up sucking balls, it will be equal to Firefly.

You're lucky they canceled it before I even had a chance to watch it or I might possibly would have been pissed at that comment.

Not that this is saying much, but Keanu as Spike is at least a better casting choice than Rosie O'Donnell as Betty Rubble in that live action Flintstones movie. What were the casting directors thinking? Betty is supposed to be a hot piece of ass. Not Rosie fucking O'Donnell.

You know, that's true and all, but that's such a random thing to bring up. There have been tons of bad casting decisions since the dawn of film, and Keanu playing anything other than a robot or an alien is one of them.
