But the PS3 has outsold the 360 this year.

.......REALLY!?

I too like Kingdom Hearts. I know it's all about "pretty boys" (talking about Sora and Riku) and the Disney folk, but Blace has pretty much said all the reasons why I like KH.

That seems like a backwards philosophy on reviewing to me.  Games should be enjoyable and a more enjoyable game should be rated higher than a less enjoyable game.  Scoring a less enjoyable game with a higher score because of certain technical aspects seems to me to be a case of not seeing the forest for the trees.

Office Space is a very "enjoyable" movie in my book, much more so than, say, Casablanca or Gone with the Wind.  I suppose as a "reviewer" of movies, I should give it a higher score?

Give me a break.

I believe you have my stapler?

I haven't paid attention to the NPD numbers in the last 2 months, but aside from June, the PS3 has sold like 20K+ more units per month than the 360, and in June, it was 200K+ (MGS4.)

Sweet!! Yeah, all I know is that MGS4 boosted the PS3 sales by a mile. Mind you, it is an epic masterpiece!

The month that Metal Gear Solid 4 came out, the PS3 thrashed the 360 in sales (like 200-300k more), but PS3 sales dropped sharply the month later.  The PS3 has been selling, on average, a little better than the 360 this year month by month, however, the emphasis is on a little.  With selling 20k more a month than the 360, it's going to take years for the PS3 to catch up given the several million console lead the 360 enjoys.  Moreover, the 360 just had a huge price drop which combined with Sony executives' statements that they have no intention to drop the PS3's price anytime should result in the PS3's monthly lead ending quickly.

Of course, from a worldwide perspective, the PS3 has a better chance and could very well end up as the #2 most popular worldwide console this generation, but honestly, I don't think the PS3 is ever going to leave 3rd place in the US.

Yeah, it might close the gap, but yeah, the PS3 will probably always be third in the U.S. I think the PS3 and 360 are neck and neck in Europe, and the 360 has obviously been out there longer, and the PS3 has triple the units as the 360 in Japan, though both are neglible, IMO (2 mil vs 600K.)

Well, I don't really try to hide that fact that I've greatly enjoyed my 360 this generation, possibly even more than I enjoyed my PS2 last gen (being able to download so many excellent games directly to my hard drive for $5-$15 is too cool!).  On the other hand, I wouldn't mind the PS3 getting a few more nice exclusive just to give me a bigger excuse to pick one up (I really REALLY want that Siren remake that came out a few weeks ago, but other than that, there's not much that's enticing to me at the moment).
