Snagged Blast Works since it dropped to $20 (at least at GameStop).  Holy shit, this game kicks ass.  It's a mixture of Katamari Damacy and R-Type or Gradius.  It's a scrolling shooter, but whenever you kill something, it pops up in an arc and if you run into it, it attaches to your ship, providing both a shield and additional firepower.  It's also got a level editor and online sharing capabilities.

In short: It's fucking awesome.

I've seen some people talking about this positively at the other forum I go to, but didn't pay it much mind. Perhaps I should give it another look.
