I attempted the final dungeon (separate save) in Arc the Lad 2, and found that my characters were 30 levels behind the enemies there. All my attacks constantly missed, my spells did only about 30 damage against some of them, and worst of all, some of the enemies know "Cure". So anytime I got close to killing one of them, another enemy would cure them instantly.

Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, since leveling up would normally keep me on par with enemies, however, leveling up at this point in the game seems to be impossible, since there's not a place left that gives me sufficient exp. anymore, and my whole group needs at least another 20-25 levels just to stay competitive with the final dungeon enemies. Even the Diekbeck trick isn't helping.

Does anyone know of an alternative way to level up in the game, or should I just call it quits for now?

Magic's pretty much your only saving grace if you want to level up :/

If you're having trouble against enemies, the final boss will rape you. That guy has a monstrous crapload of HP.

Only solution, the gameshark, or GRIND MOAR.

I recall abusing that Monster Arena and I can't say anything in that dungeon gave me any kind of trouble. ...except for the dungeon itself, because it was huge and I got lost a couple of times.

Just keep stacking charge on Elc and watch him tear through anything in one one shot. :o Choco is also an excellent asset as well if you took the time to get her. I'd recommend grinding some levels before attempting the last boss as he can be quite a challenge if you are severely under leveled.

Choco's Asura form=Insanely uber.

I've yet to finish Arc 2 but from my understanding, if you've done all of the hunts and sidequests, your levels should be alright.

Personally I'm sort of glad to hear it gets really hard at the end, as the early parts are sort of easy.

That's where I quit that game and realized it wasn't very good.

That was my solution. I'm not sure if there's a better one.

Wait, you get experience even if your attacks miss, IIRC. You also definitely get experience for just GETTING attacked.
