Ah, it is really nice to finally be able to play video games again. I really haven't been able to play games since Twilight Princess came out and it has been two years! Most of what I've played since then have been replays and Virtual Console titles because I didn't have the time or energy with all the reading and homework I had to do for school.

Anyway, I played all the way through Torneko's chapter in DQIV today, and started into Meena and Maya's chapter. I bumped into Ragnar in the casino with Torneko and was very happy to see he was talking now. I was worried I'd have a whole party of silent protagonists, but it looks like it won't happen after all. I just wish these characters would have talked during their respective chapters; I may have cared more for them if they had.

I do have to admit that I thought the chapter format was interesting, but now I think otherwise. I've played for almost seven hours and all I've had are foreshadowings of the main plot. I'm not expecting anything awesome, but I want more than what the game has offered so far.

There's absolutely no way to get a happy ending in Harold's sidequest.  I wish I hadn't even done it. :P

Just my luck that the only interesting character fucking DIES.  Hopefully her replacement will be as interesting, but I doubt it'll happen.

I trounce everything I come across for the last four hours of play, then along comes this Blackmore asshole.  Talk about cheap, Jesus.

Tales of the Abyss - At Choral Castle. I was happily playing the game on my PS3 until it fuckin' stalled there. Had to transfer the memory back to my card and play it on my PS2. Pretty bummed out about that, but the game is awesome.

Assassin's Creed - Beat it, pretty fun game. Though, the images at the end went over my head. I had to look up what most of it meant, it got me a bit excited for where the next game will go.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary - Got the second scion.

I also beat Gears 2 with my friend on Saturday. It's alright. I got into Gears 1 online, probably the only online shooter I have regularly played, and I can see myself playing this a bit too. I'm probably gonna beat it on Insane before I go online, though.
