Hi folks, welcome to your new message boards, running on the Simplemachines forum software. These are similar to the previous system we had in place (phpBB), but quite sufficiently more refined and with a stronger development community behind 'em.
You'll probably notice some things.
1. We now have attachments. This means you can upload files for users to view instead of having to hotlink or embed large images in the message box. PLEASE use this option instead of embedding giant scans of things. It's disgusting when people do that.
2. We also have a new avatar gallery. While not "new", it's something people tend to not notice or forget about, and it's a nice selection I built a few years ago that I figured I should upload here for people to use.
3. You have your icon bars back. They're smaller, but still functional, and even regular members get their green stripes again. :)
4. There's a karma system. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but your "Repute" is the karma system. Generally if you lodge a complaint about a member, the admins will look at their karma, which should be an indicator of how things are going. Please don't abuse the reputation system, it's actually a fairly good admin tool.
5. There will be a "warn" system shortly. I've found a good SMF mod for that.
