So, looks like we're getting that Shin Megami Tensei MMO.

I'm not the biggest fan of MMOs, but I will definitely give this one a go.

What about Grandia Online. :O

Code:
lul never coming out

Or how about Shenmue Online?
Looks pretty epic to me. (Really need a face plain smiley for this one.)

Shenmue, maybe. SMT? No. I love SMT, but I love SMT for its battle system and estranged atmosphere. That same idea can't exist with an online community, and I somehow don't think I'd enjoy the SMT universe with other players so consistently.

And hey, MMORPGs suck.

Yeah, I hate MMOs. It's just a grindfest with no reward.

I'm always a little hesitant about the free to play transactional MMOs because they tend to end up being more expensive if you like them than the subscription-based games, since the goodies that require money almost invariably make the game impossible to play without them (have to have a big enough incentive to keep the servers afloat).  Nevertheless, since it's free for the basics I'll definitely check it out just to see if it's a decent transition just because the SMT universe is pretty neat.  Interesting it's coming out so soon...which means there's probably next to nil dialogue. :P

Looks like they plan on outsourcing some of the translation job to the general public. Not sure what to think about this atm, however it can't be any worse than their current in house translators...
