"Other people" means you. And it's because you make it into a personal attack. This however, is lame, largely because a) It's L337, and b) It's not even readable L337.

I found it amusing, since someone actually took the time to make a translator like this. Personally, I thought the whole retardation is what made it funny. Some people still enjoy mundane things like this.

Well that's the thing. It hasn't been the fad for years, but it's been the 'fad we had and now we mock' fad for some time now. The problem with doing L337 jokes is that they've all been seen and done before, or it's just so heard-of that it doesn't inspire a chuckle. It's like slipping on a banana peel. It may be funny in small doses, but really, it's been done so often and by so many people, it really needs to be put out to pasture.

To be clear, just so Ashton can heal that chip on his shoulder a little, what I said was not intended as a personal attack. It's my opinion that L337 has become unfunny. God forbid I disagree with the humour though. Oh noes.
