Some details:

Dungeons and Dam (DS/Acquire/2009)
- Defend the town built around the dam from monsters attacking at night
- The layout of the dam and the flow of water is just as important to your survival as the growth of your characters and the construction of the party.

Sounds neat, it's sort of like they're building on the concept introduced in Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida and are adding more fleshed out RPG battles at the same time.

What'd you have in mind?  Mayhaps something like "Defenders of the Dam" perhaps?  Doofy sure, but certainly a bit more exciting and heroic sounding than Dungeons & Dam.  Although I'd think you'd be more into a game entitled "Dam Nation" since you have to defend the dam(n) city from those dam(n) monsters.

The Japanese title is actually Dan←Dam or Dun←Dam (Dungeons & Dam is the subtitle; probably so that people won't get confused). Since they spell dungeon with kana like danjon it makes for a clever title there. Dan←Dam is what the kana says but the url says Dun←Dam, maybe both are acceptable?

I like Dam Nation.

The current name is too similar to Dungeons & Dragons. For a second, I thought it was.

Cool premise. Hopefully they get the right balance of building and simulation elements, strategy elements, and dice-rolling, number-crunching combat. This title sounds really interesting.
