They announced 3 new ff13 games at e3. Looks like its a series, like ff7 was.

There's Versus and Fabula Nova Crystallis- for ps3, hinting that even though theyre futuistic, it may have the crystals.

And then there's Agito for mobile phones.

Square held their press conference today. They unveiled FFXIII. They also announced that there will be two additional FFXIII gaiden games, basically like what they've done with FFVII.

I've heard nothing of the like. If you're going to allege something, back it up with a source, will ya. All I've read about is Final Fantasy XIII officially being announced, disclosing a bit about the protagonist and theme.

Don't quell my hopes! I'm thrilled that there is finally a true female lead in a FF game!

Though why does sh look like Yuna/Ashe/Rinoa thrown into a blender and thus this is what we get? :|

I dunno, hasn't it been a trend for Final Fantasy and a lot of JRPGs in general to have girly looking boys as main characters? Bishonen characters are nothing new, they seem to attract more female Japanese players, which is beyond me.

True enough, hell even society is going for the more feminine-male as oppose to brute muscle-men. (ie; Johhny Depp, Orlando Bloom, etc.).  I still think Vaan crosses the line and just looks like a character that maybe should have remained in an anime-form.
I heard something really smart once; anime is meant to make people look pretty, so even male's get embellished as such.
