I'm usually not a fan of Nomura's designs, but I'm loving what I see so far, even if the main character looks too much like a Yuna/Ashe hybrid.

Damn it, I really hate to sound like an idiot, but...

Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII?

Are these different games, the descriptions have been so very vague not sure what to make of them.

Yes. FFvXIII is an action RPG by the KH team. FFXIII, apparantly, is a more traditional FF. Or perhaps FFXII styled, I dunno at this point. Different directors for each game too.
