A New York Times article is claiming that Blizzard will announce a WoW live action film today.

So er, if this is true then... Well, I don't know what to think. It could either be awesome, or the most horrible thing ever put on celluloid.

Sometimes, I hate big business because of this. Just because something is super successful like WoW, doens't mean it can be spread to other mediums.

It's not a World of Warcraft movie, really...just a movie set in the Warcraft universe.

So, a more accurate title for this thread would simply be "Warcraft: the Movie".

I wonder if the film would crash right after you start watching it, it's nice when movies homage the games they are based on.
