Meh. Not having enjoyed KOTOR to nearly the same extent you have John, I can't say I'm hyped. But then you know how I feel about MMOs. Perhaps BioWare can do something magical though? I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do.

I'll definitely be down for this one. I just browsed the news about this to be honest but i'm guessing that there'll be massive Jedi vs Sith PvP and no doubt be a long-ass process to become a jedi/sith. If not, I would be surprised.

I'd prefer it if there was less to do with Force powers and more to do with the Star Wars universe on the whole. It's like when Galaxies got bunked; everyone was able to be a Jedi for no particularly good reason and there was no purpose in playing the other classes anymore. Ruined a perfectly good game.

I'm not a big KotOR fan myself, but I can certainly see why people would be interested in this.  If nothing else the writing should be interesting.

Do remember though, in KOTOR, there was sufficient defenses against lightsabers at least.  And Force Unleashed introduced certain non force characters with some force resistant shielding.  So its entirely possible that playing a non Jedi/Sith, will have some options to make them balanced with the Jedi/Sith.  Then again I could be wrong, it all depends on what Bioware wants to do, but for the moment while im stocked, I will reserve judgement.  I like the artstyle, save for the giant logsabers.  They need to get those things on a diet..fast!

Loved KOTOR, loved Mass Effect, but here's the thing.  Bioware games are always buggy as hell.  MMORPGs are some of the most open-ended, and thus most prone to issues with bugs out of any kind of game around.

Therefore, Bioware + MMO = Glitch Fiesta

Well bioware tends to fix things pretty quick.  Plus, seeing as this is an MMO, there is the possibility that they will be a bit more on the ball for it, though who knows.  Still, even with glitches, biowares games are some of my favorites, and are certainly some of the best available on any system.

Well either you misspelled "no" in which case you may be legally retarded or you misspelled "one" in which case you forgot the statement where you explained how one of the most popular developers creating RPGs today, creating a game using one of the most lucrative licenses in just about everything (except for ice cream, I want my Jango Swirl dammit) and to top it off continuing a game series they helped create and still is one of the most enjoyed games of the decade doesn't in any way make a lot of people go "holy shit, that's going to rock"

I'll pass. FFXI and WoW have always been what I call home and this will not change my mind, simply because I just don't like Star Wars, and even more so because I thought KOTOR was a boring waste of a game.
