The game looks fucking awesome! And hell, I think Snake could work in the game, they've got every other fucking character all ready in there.

I just think it's hilarious how in the trailer, it shows Link, Pikachu, Mario, and Kirby in their GC forms from melee, and then when they swithch to Wii form Link and Mario are the only ones that actually look different.

Rewatch the trailer, Pikachu's design changed too, but it was more subtle. Kirby, however, didn't change. :P

I seriously doubt that. Nintendo has no reason to include Sephiroth in an SSB game, based on the fact that their relationship with Square was rocky when FFVII came out as well as the little matter of Sephiroth and FFVII having nothing to do with a Nintendo system. Snake on the other hand has at least appeared on the GameCube.

Yeah... Nor is Sephiroth a great character for a dream deathmatch. Maybe against Ganondorf, but he nor Cloud have any history with Nintendo outside of 'nearly wound up on the N64'. Characters like Sonic and even Master Chief would be great though because they are/were major characters for their competition, and that could even apply (to a much lesser degree) to the Naughty Dog/Insomniac characters. Cloud and Sephiroth though... Damn, just throw in Cecil or Terra or someone. :P

Im still gonna hope for the day where all big video game companies bring like 10 characters to be used in a smash brothers type game. =P

You're kidding right? Haha!

Not a chance in hell of that happening. I could see an FF character that appeared on a Nintendo console as Eusis mentioned, but Sephiroth? While nothing is impossible, I have to say there is probably a 99.9% chance that the rumor you heard is false.

If you mean news stories, RPGFan doesn't cover games like Smash Bros. last I checked... And if you mean in this thread, I seriously hope you don't equate Nobuo Uematsu composing the /main/ theme with 'he contributed One-Winged Angel'.

Yea, unless it is something widely known, it is best to find a hyperlink to a reputable source to back your claims. "Heard about it" generally isn't good enough.
